I want to dedicate this post to a dear friend that the Lord has placed in my life! I believe that true friends are rare and precious treasures and that we must hold onto them when we find such friends. The Bible says~ A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

I first met Carrie a little over a year ago and since then she has come to be a great friend. We still don't know all that much about one another and I am sure that there would be a lot to learn still. But I do know that she has a passion and a desire to serve the Lord. She has a light that shines so brightly for the Lord and seeing how much she loves God has given me more of a desire to live for the Lord. She has been an encouragement and help to me many times. She has laughed at me for my silliness, cried with me, told me the truth when I needed to hear it, been there with me when things were hard and did not say a word but was an encouragement just because she was there, prayed for me, and encouraged me to stand for what is right in a world that does not love Jesus. Someone once said that In the tough times a true friend is one who will be walking into your life when everyone else walks out.

I believe that God's promise to us still stands in the form of a rainbow and sometimes after a storm He will place one in the sky to remind us of His Great and Mighty Love and His Mercy and Grace to us. Just as we walk through storms in our lives, we are not alone because He said in His Word~ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

I believe that God sends us little rainbows from time to time to remind us He is still with us and He loves us! It may be through an answered prayer, His still small voice spoken through His Word, a song we hear, or when a friend walks into your life and helps you see that He is a Great and Powerful God who loves and cares for each of us as if we were His only Child. I am thankful for the very many rainbows that God has sent into my life. They are markers that are an ever reminder of His presence in my life and His love for me.

I am so very thankful for this dear friend who has been a rainbow in my life!

I pray that God will shower you with lots of blessings for the encouragement and friend that you have been to me! And I hope that somehow through this you might know how truly thankful I am that God has sent me such a wonderful friend!
